Job Summary
The Microsoft .Net Azure Cloud Architect will leverage over 15 years of experience in software architecture and design, with a strong focus on .Net application development and cloud-native architectures. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing secure, scalable microservices architectures on Azure, aligning enterprise architecture with business strategies and security policies. The architect will provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure best practices and compliance throughout the software development lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement secure and scalable microservices architectures leveraging Kubernetes on Azure.
- Define and maintain the enterprise architecture roadmap aligned with business strategies and TOGAF standards.
- Lead architectural design and implementation of new features and services, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and security policies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure solutions adhere to architectural standards and best practices.
- Define and document architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices for cloud-native development.
- Conduct technical feasibility studies, evaluate new technologies, and propose solutions.
- Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization for cloud-based applications.
- Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential architectural risks and vulnerabilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of software development processes and architecture.
- Stay updated on latest trends and technologies in cloud computing, containerization, and microservices.
- Work closely with DevOps and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment.
Qualifications
- Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/MCA.
- 15+ years of experience in software architecture and design, with at least 5 years focused on cloud-native architectures.
- Proficient in C#, .NET Core, Web API, and Angular/React.js development.
- Proven experience designing and implementing secure applications in Azure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Registry (ACR), and Azure DevOps.
- Expertise in identity frameworks such as Azure Active Directory and modern security protocols including OAuth 2, SAML, Single Sign-On (SSO), and JSON Web Token (JWT).
- Hands-on experience with cloud design patterns, microservices, and domain-driven design implementation.
- Strong experience with Azure Service Bus, Azure Redis Cache, Azure Function app development, Azure SQL, and Azure Blob Storage.
- Extensive knowledge of Azure Platform as a Service (PaaS) offerings including Azure Web Apps, Azure Functions, Azure API Management (APIM), Azure Application Gateway, Azure Key Vault, Application Insights, and Azure App Configuration.
- Experience defining and maintaining enterprise architecture roadmaps aligned with TOGAF standards.
- Deep understanding of Kubernetes cluster management, networking, security, and monitoring.
- Strong grasp of microservices architectures, design patterns, API gateways, and service mesh technologies.
- Solid understanding of security principles and best practices including authentication, authorization, and data protection.
Preferred Skills
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) Certification.
Experience
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in software architecture and .Net application development.
- At least 5 years of focused experience on cloud-native architectures and Azure cloud services.

Salary
- Salary Range:
- 1-5 Years Experience: Up to 20 LPA (INR).
- 5-8 Years Experience: Up to 28-30 LPA (INR).
