Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Liferay Developer with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join our team in Bangalore, India. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Liferay DXP development, portal configuration, and custom module implementation, contributing to the organization’s goals through the development and maintenance of enterprise web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise web applications using Liferay DXP.
• Customize Liferay themes, portlets, hooks, and extensions based on business requirements.
• Integrate Liferay with backend systems and third-party APIs.
• Design and implement solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring, and Liferay frameworks.
• Optimize portal performance and troubleshoot issues related to content rendering, deployment, and configuration.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and QA to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation and conduct code reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Strong experience in Liferay DXP, Java, JSP, Servlets, Spring, Web Services, HTML/CSS/JavaScript.
• Proficiency in database technologies such as MySQL or Oracle.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with other web development frameworks and libraries.
• Understanding of front-end frameworks such as Angular or React.

Experience
