Job Summary

As the Team Lead - General Accounting, you will drive the complete, accurate, and timely completion of accounting activities within the General Accounting team. You will ensure compliance with internal guidelines, procedures, and external regulatory requirements, showcasing your expertise by overseeing key accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of financial statements for timely filings with regulatory agencies.
• Lead Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance to ensure processes and controls effectively address financial reporting.
• Perform analysis of accounts, identifying discrepancies/anomalies and serving as a subject matter expert for resolving accounting transactions and reporting questions.
• Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
• Support the month-end close process, including account reconciliation, preparation of journal entries, and balance sheet review.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in general accounting, reporting, reconciliation, and processing of journal entries.
• Proven experience in handling a team effectively.
• Expertise in Record to Report (R2R) processes.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is preferred.
• Strong ability in performing general accounting activities and recording financial transactions.
• Experience coordinating with Internal and External Auditors.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
