Core Financial Support Specialist (Oracle R12 ERP)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Core Financial Support Specialist with deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle R12 ERP Financial Modules. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting business users, troubleshooting system issues, and ensuring optimal use of Oracle Financial systems, including AR (Accounts Receivable), AP (Accounts Payable), GL (General Ledger), PO (Purchase Order), and FA (Fixed Assets). This is a 3-month contract position with a strong focus on customer satisfaction, issue resolution, and continuous service improvement.
Responsibilities
- End-User Support: Provide hands-on functional support to users of Oracle R12 Financial modules.
- Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve system/application issues; escalate and coordinate with vendors as required.
- Customer Satisfaction: Deliver prompt, courteous support and foster confidence in the system through clear communication and effective solutions.
- Incident & Problem Management: Participate in incident reviews and root cause analyses to prevent recurring issues.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Collaborate with development teams to resolve backend issues using SQL, PL/SQL, and XML Publisher.
- Leadership Communication: Attend and contribute to weekly service review meetings, SLA discussions, and change board reviews.
- Documentation: Create and maintain knowledge base articles, FAQs, and user manuals to aid self-service support.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor system health and performance, ensuring compliance with downtime policies and business continuity plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of experience with Oracle R12 Financial Modules (AR, AP, GL, PO, FA).
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle setups and configurations.
- Technical skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and XML Publisher.
- Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Zuora RevPro for revenue recognition.
- Prior experience in incident analysis and long-term solution planning.
- Proficiency in creating customer-facing documentation.
- Comfortable engaging with leadership and stakeholders.
- Understanding of system performance metrics and monitoring tools.
Experience
- Experience Level: 5+ years of experience in core financial support, specifically with Oracle R12 ERP financial modules.
