The Draftsman will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and interior layouts for<br /> civil and interior work within the retail sector. The role includes translating design concepts into<br /> detailed construction and installation plans, and ensuring compliance with client specifications and<br /> industry standards.<br /> Key Responsibilities:<br />  Prepare Detailed Drawings: Develop 2D/3D CAD drawings for retail store interiors, including<br /> floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailing for civil and interior work.<br />  Collaborate with Design Teams: Work closely with architects, interior designers, engineers,<br /> and project managers to produce accurate drawings that reflect design intent and functional<br /> requirements.<br />  Site Coordination: Assist in coordinating with on-site teams to ensure that designs are<br /> executed as per the drawings and resolve any discrepancies.<br />  Material Specification Support: Provide detailed information on material specifications,<br /> including dimensions, materials, finishes, and furniture layouts.<br />  Compliance with Standards: Ensure all drawings adhere to building codes, safety<br /> regulations, and brand guidelines for the retail sector.<br />  Revise Drawings: Update and modify drawings based on feedback from design teams,<br /> clients, and site engineers.<br />  Documentation: Maintain a record of all drawings and revisions for ongoing and completed<br /> projects.<br /> Qualifications:<br />  Education: Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.<br />  Experience:<br /> o 3+ years of experience as a draftsman, with a focus on civil interior work, particularly<br /> in the retail sector.<br /> o Proficiency in using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar CAD software for technical<br /> drawings.<br /> o Experience in drafting retail space interiors is highly desirable.<br />  Technical Skills:<br /> o Strong knowledge of construction and civil work detailing.<br /> o Familiarity with material specifications and installation processes in retail spaces.
