Job Title: Hub Incharge
Location: Banglore & Chennai
Department: Supply Chain / Logistics
Reporting to: Senior Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily inward movement and ensure timely vehicle docking, unloading, and systematic storage to minimize damage/loss.
- Align with the procurement team on weekly/monthly inward plans; raise gaps via MIS to HO.
- Ensure loose material is QC-checked as per company policy to maintain raw material quality standards.
- Convert loose materials into efficient bales with minimum wastage.
- Plan and execute dispatches; coordinate with the logistics team for vehicle placement and ensure full vehicle utilization with minimal loading loss.
- Ensure RFID/barcode scanning during all inward, outward, and baling operations.
- Submit daily MIS reports with 100% data accuracy.
- Maintain 5S standards and implement Kaizen for continuous improvement.
- Optimize hub space utilization to improve material handling and carrying efficiency.
- Ensure hub cleanliness, safety, and compliance as per company standards; escalate deviations to HO.
- Operate the hub strictly in line with company policies and SOPs.
- Understand inventory management processes; ensure daily cycle counting, monthly audits, and support during external/internal audits.
Candidate Requirements:
- System-oriented with experience in WMS and Oracle.
- Knowledge of barcoding and RFID operations is a must.
- Strong in MIS/data reporting.
- Hands-on experience in warehouse operations (inward, outward, inventory control).
- Familiar with 5S, Kaizen practices.
- Understanding of inventory counting, audits, and reconciliation.
- Good communication skills in both local language and English.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, rough & tough operational environment.
