Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Commercial & Strategic Responsibilities
- Develop and implement national crop-wise strategies to achieve business growth and market share objectives.
- Provide leadership to divisional Sales & Marketing teams in execution of crop strategies.
- Drive competitive intelligence and market insights to identify opportunities and threats in the field crop segment.
2. Product Portfolio Management
- Lead the management of the product portfolio for field crops through the entire Product Life Cycle.
- Ensure alignment of pipeline products with market needs, farmer demand, and company strategy.
- Partner with R&D, Sales and Product Development teams to define product profiles, trial protocols, and go-to-market readiness.
- Recommend product lifecycle decisions including new introductions, phase-outs, and positioning.
3. Product Launch & Evaluation
- Plan and execute successful product launches at national scale, ensuring proper positioning, pricing, and promotional support.
- Collaborate with regional teams for effective demonstration of trials and validation.
- Monitor product performance post-launch and recommend corrective actions where required.
- Ensure timely product knowledge transfer, training, and support to sales teams.
4. Farmer-Centric Approach
- Design and implement strategies to enhance farmer awareness, engagement, and adoption of ACSEN field crop products.
- Work closely with field teams to capture farmer insights and incorporate them into product positioning and promotional activities.
- Support creation of demand generation programs tailored to farmer needs.
5. People Leadership & Capability Building
- Mentoring and developing S&M and RCM teams to strengthen crop knowledge and market execution.
- Drive capability building through structured training programs, workshops, and knowledge sharing.
- Foster a culture of farmer centric, collaboration, empowerment, and accountability across teams.
