Job Summary

The Technical Data Modeler plays a critical role in designing and implementing data solutions that ensure scalability, consistency, and adherence to best practices. This role contributes to the organization's goals by translating business requirements into efficient Data Vault 2.0 data models and ensuring data integration standards are aligned with Snowflake best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design and model enterprise data solutions using Data Vault 2.0 methodologies.
• Collaborate with data architects, engineers, and business teams to translate requirements into efficient DV 2.0 data models.
• Implement hubs, links, satellites, and other Data Vault 2.0 components to support enterprise-wide analytics.
• Ensure data integration and modeling standards align with Snowflake best practices.
• Provide guidance on data modeling patterns and contribute to the continuous improvement of modeling frameworks.
• Communicate modeling approaches effectively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in data modeling, specifically with Data Vault 2.0.
• Proficiency in Snowflake Cloud Data Platform.
• Strong SQL development and optimization skills.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud data architecture.
• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.
• Experience in designing scalable data solutions adhering to modeling best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with additional programming languages or data processing tools.
• Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards.
