Job Summary

The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components. This role is critical to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of engineering processes and will contribute significantly to the organization’s goals by delivering innovative mechanical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical systems and components based on project requirements.
• Conduct simulations and analyses to evaluate performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical systems, software, and controls.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including design specifications and engineering reports.
• Oversee the prototype development and testing of mechanical products to validate functionality and design.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions during the manufacturing and assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to mechanical engineering.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) tools.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools.
• Previous experience in the automotive or aerospace industry is advantageous.

Experience

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering or related field.
