Job Summary

The Tester plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products by evaluating and validating functionality, performance, and usability. This position contributes to the overall success of the organization by helping to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track defects through the testing process.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Conduct regression, performance, and usability testing.
• Report testing progress and results to stakeholders effectively.
• Participate in meetings to discuss software quality and improvement strategies.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in test automation tools and programming languages.
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Experience with performance and load testing tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).
• Knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB) is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
