Job Description

Documentation

  • Provide support on drafting and vetting of documents:
    • Trust Deeds, minutes
    • Agreements of various types, collaboration agreements
    • Heavy frequency documentation (NDA, MOU, JVAs etc.)
    • Various compliance related forms, undertakings etc
    • Lease, Leave and License, Trust property related

 

Due Diligence : for any acquisition or merger etc

  • Liaison with law firm personnel for DD requisitions
  • Prepare and review Reports and Findings
  • Highlight sector specific risks, include in DD and show mitigating actions for internal review

 

New regulations laws and latest legal compliances and processes and policies

  • Monitor and help report internally
  • Enable changes in light of regulatory changes
  • Put in place processes, protocols etc

 

Litigation

  • Monitor ongoing litigation by attending case hearings in court
  • Attend, report and assist Solicitors etc. and liaison with internal team and Solicitors for client inputs as required
  • Research on relevant case laws and inputs on amendments in pleadings

 

Legal Advisory:   

  • Research and support on opinions/ replies to be given on specific queries from trusts/ trustees
Examine the extant laws and legal matrix and evolve advise in light of the factual situation
