Job Summary

The DevOps Engineer (Azure) plays a critical role in bridging development and operations teams, ensuring seamless integration and delivery of applications. This position will focus on managing and optimizing Azure services, enhancing infrastructure, and maintaining CI/CD processes to align with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Azure-based infrastructure and services using best practices.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform for efficient and scalable deployments.
• Manage Kubernetes (AKS) clusters and automate deployment processes through CI/CD pipelines.
• Monitor and optimize application performance using Azure Monitor and logging tools.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate applications with Kafka, Azure Data Factory, and other data services.
• Ensure high availability and reliability of services through effective load balancing and network configuration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a DevOps role with a strong focus on Azure technologies.
• Proficiency in Docker, Linux, and Shell scripting for automation purposes.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and container orchestration.
• Experience in creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
• Strong skills in Kubernetes and managing applications in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with LLMOps, Azure OpenAI, or GCP Vertex AI.
• Exposure to monitoring and visualization tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
• Knowledge of developing applications using FastAPI, ReactJS, or data orchestration with Airflow and Databricks.

Experience

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in DevOps practices and cloud technologies, particularly focused on Azure.

Environment

• This position is primarily remote, with the expectation of being in-office once a month for team meetings and collaboration.
