Job Summary
The AEM Developer will be responsible for developing high-performance, high-volume end-to-end applications using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related technologies. This role requires deep expertise in AEM 6.5 and above, alongside hands-on development experience with various Adobe marketing cloud products solutions. The developer will lead the team in building comprehensive applications while providing technical guidance and training to team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement AEM components, templates, workflows, and OSGi modules using JSP and HTL.
- Collaborate with a team of engineers to create high-performance applications using Java, Angular, and AEM.
- Provide technical training and mentoring to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Analyze and implement various application patterns to support business processes, including APIs and event-driven services.
- Ensure adherence to secure coding standards and best practices.
- Deliver significant functionality within project timelines and budgets, solving problems related to scale, resilience, and security.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of relevant experience in AEM and Java Stack.
- Extensive knowledge of Java, REST APIs, Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Jenkins, Spring, Oracle, GIT, and Microservices.
- Proficient in advanced code development, code reviews, and automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with various Software Architecture and Design Principles, Patterns, Methodologies, and Domain Concepts.
- Experience with databases such as Oracle and Postgres.
- Understanding of different Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices, including Waterfall, Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with collaborative abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Angular or React.
- Knowledge of Messaging Frameworks.
- Familiarity with secure coding standards (e.g., OWASP, CWE, SEI CERT).
- Experience with Microservices and Cloud Native Architecture.
Experience
- At least 6-8 years of relevant experience in AEM and Java Stack.
- Proven track record of successful delivery of large software applications as a Tech Lead.
