QA Engineer – Web & Automation

Job Summary

As a Quality Assurance Engineer at Zoca, you will play a key role in ensuring our platform’s reliability and seamless performance. You will design and implement testing processes, identify potential issues before they impact customers, and help define and shape the quality standards for our infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Validate user experience to ensure each component behaves exactly as it should.
• Create and maintain browser-based automated test scripts using tools like Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.
• Write test cases, run them frequently, and catch regressions early to keep our product stable.
• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, and product managers to ensure product quality.
• Spot performance hiccups, usability flaws, and advise on improvements.
• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts for our APIs and platform features.
• Conduct exploratory, regression, and performance testing to identify inconsistencies.
• Maintain detailed documentation of test processes, results, and quality metrics.
• Build and maintain automated testing frameworks to increase efficiency and coverage.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on QA experience testing websites or SaaS products.
• Proficiency in at least one automation framework.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify even the smallest bugs.
• A startup mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and solve new challenges.
• Educational background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern testing tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with performance and load testing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of relevant QA experience in testing websites or SaaS products.

Environment

This role is based in Bangalore, with a full-time, in-office work setting. The position requires a dynamic and collaborative work environment typical of a startup culture.

Salary

INR 10,00,000 - 14,00,000 per annum
