Vice President of Engineering

What You’ll Do

• Lead and grow the engineering team across backend, frontend, QA, and DevOps.

• Stay hands-on with code and design discussions (~25% of your time).

• Drive technical execution: plan releases, ensure quality, and keep projects moving smoothly.

• Build engineering culture and structure — processes, ownership, and accountability.

• Collaborate with the CTO and product teams to balance speed and technical depth.

• Focus on scalability, performance, and security as the platform grows.

• Hire, coach, and mentor engineers who thrive in startup environments.

What We’re Looking For

• 10–12 years of total engineering experience.

• At least 5 years in an Engineering Manager or higher role leading product development teams.

• Proven track record of scaling both teams and SaaS platforms in a startup or fast-moving setup.

• Solid hands-on background — comfortable jumping into architecture or debugging when needed.

• Deep experience with modern cloud environments (AWS preferred) and SaaS architectures.

• Must be based in Bengaluru (non-negotiable).

Nice to Have

• Exposure to AI or machine learning workflows.

• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy software environments.

• Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, or similar frameworks.
