Technical Program Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a Technical Program Manager who takes pride in their work and is passionate about building highly scalable digital engineering applications. In this role, you will lead multiple scrum teams and drive the end-to-end delivery of projects, ensuring that client requirements are met with precision. You will manage project lifecycles from ideation through development and testing, oversee budgeting and timelines, and coach team members to maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide Leadership: Lead multiple scrum teams to ensure effective project execution.
• Project Management: Oversee the full project lifecycle including requirement gathering, development, testing, planning, coordination, and direct communication with clients.
• End-to-End Ownership: Manage project budgets, timelines, and the overall quality of the deliverables.
• Team Mentorship: Coach and mentor developers to enhance their skills and foster a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• IT Experience: 12-15 years of progressive experience in IT.
• Software Engineering: 7+ years of progressive hands-on experience in Software Engineering.
• Project Management: 5+ years of experience as a delivery lead or project/program manager.
• PM Tools Proficiency: 5+ years of experience using Rally, Microsoft Project, and similar project management tools.
• Cloud Migration: 2+ years of hands-on experience migrating applications to the cloud.
• Agile Methodologies: 2+ years of Agile delivery experience and 2+ years working on an Agile team.
• Technical Knowledge: Broad understanding of cloud native technologies including Rational and NoSQL databases, modern frontend technology stacks, modern integration technologies, stream processing, and DevSecOps.
• Cloud Platforms: 2+ years of cloud experience with Azure (preferable), GCP, or AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Communication & Problem Solving: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Agile/Scrum Expertise: Previous experience delivering software using Agile/Scrum methodology.
• DevOps Exposure: Experience working in a DevOps environment.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, fluid environment while maintaining adherence to standards and best practices.
• Industry Experience: Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus.

Experience

• Overall: 15+ years of experience in the IT sector.
• Specialized: Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering, project delivery, and Agile practices.

Environment

• Work Setting: Remote work environment.
• Shift Timing: 11:00 AM – 8:30 PM IST.
• Contract Details: 6-month contract position focused on digital engineering application delivery.
