The company operates within the packaged food industry. It currently has a plant in Bangalore and is planning to open another facility in Bangalore and one in Noida.

Job Summary

The Operations Head will be responsible for managing operations across three plants, ensuring efficiency in supply chain management and procurement. This role is pivotal in building and leading a team to support the new plants and maintaining consistent operational standards across locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee operations for three plants located in Bangalore and Noida.
• Manage supply chain activities to ensure seamless procurement and distribution of products.
• Build and develop a robust team for the new plants, ensuring effective training and onboarding.
• Collaborate with management to strategize operations for efficiency and productivity.
• Utilize various languages to facilitate communication with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Significant experience in supply chain management is required.
• Proven track record in operations leadership within the packaged food industry is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a large workforce, including contract labor, especially during peak seasons.
• Languages proficiency: Ability to converse in various languages is essential.
• Age preference: Ideally between 35-42 years, with a maximum age of 45 years.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in building and leading teams for new plant openings.
• Background in logistics and inventory management.
• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory issues in the food industry.
• Adaptability and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
