Job Summary

The Test Automation Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of software products through automated testing. This position is expected to contribute to the organization's goals by implementing and maintaining automated testing processes, which will facilitate faster and more efficient software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver.
• Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects.
• Utilize defect management tools like JIRA or Rally to track and manage defects.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
• Perform API testing and debugging using tools like Postman and Karate.
• Continuously improve testing frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in test automation using Java.
  • 2+ years of experience with defect management tools (JIRA or Rally).
  • 2+ years of experience with test automation tools and frameworks (Selenium WebDriver and TestNG).
  • 1+ year of experience with API testing/debugging tools (Postman, Karate).
  • Proficient in at least one major programming language (e.g., Java).

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• Experience with performance testing tools.

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years in test automation roles.
• Proven experience in defect management and automated testing frameworks.
