Job Description
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Analysis
•
Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Indian GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
•
Consolidate financials across multiple entities (India and international) and provide actionable insights for senior management.
•
Prepare MIS reports, variance analysis, and cash flow statements, highlighting key financial trends and business performance metrics.
2. Accounting Operations
•
Oversee Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Payroll, General Ledger (GL), and Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
•
Ensure accurate recording of transactions, timely book closures, and submission of group financial reports (BPC).
•
Conduct periodic reconciliations (intercompany, payment gateway, bank, and general ledger accounts).
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
•
Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting exercises.
•
Analyze performance against budgets, perform variance analysis, and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue growth.
4. Audit & Compliance
•
Act as the primary liaison for internal and external audits.
•
Oversee filing of statutory compliances (TDS, GST, Income Tax returns, 15CA/CB on foreign remittances).
•
Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and international reporting standards.
5. Stakeholder Management
•
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, operations, and senior leadership to provide financial guidance.
•
Present financial insights and strategic recommendations to executive management.
•
Maintain effective communication with external partners (banks, auditors, and consultants).
6. Team Leadership
•
Mentor and guide junior finance team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
•
Build robust internal controls and ensure continuous team skill development.
Qualifications & Skills
•
Chartered Accountant (CA), preferred.
•
4-7 years of experience in financial reporting, audits, and accounting operations (experience with tech, media, or digital marketing companies is a plus).
•
Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, taxation, and compliance frameworks.
•
Expertise in tools like Tally, SAP, MS Dynamics, or other ERP systems.
•
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple stakeholders.
