Job Summary

The Founder's Associate will play a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the company, working directly with the founder and CEO. This position emphasizes versatility and adaptability as the candidate will undertake various tasks that evolve with the company's growth. This role is critical at the pre-commercial launch phase and offers hands-on exposure across multiple facets of the business.

Responsibilities

• Commercial & Digital Channels

  • Own the end-to-end build of the direct-to-consumer website store.
  • Lead the onboarding process for relevant marketplaces, including documentation and content setup.
  • Manage operational relationships with retail channels regarding order processing, invoicing, and issue resolution.

• Supply Chain, Manufacturing & Warehousing

  • Serve as the primary operational contact with the manufacturer, overseeing production scheduling and shipment tracking.
  • Establish and manage the warehouse relationship, ensuring smooth inbound and outbound stock processes.
  • Maintain a live inventory tracker and collaborate with the founder on production planning.

• Finance & Accounts

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping and vendor management, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices.

• Clinical Studies Support

  • Assist with operational logistics for clinical studies alongside the Head of Science & Veterinary Affairs.

• Founder Support & Special Projects

  • Take ownership of dynamic tasks that emerge as company priorities shift, from investor preparation to market research.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in startup, consulting, investment banking, or generalist operations.
• Strong execution skills; able to work independently without constant oversight.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and adjusting to fast-paced changes.
• Proficient in handling numerical data; able to work with spreadsheets and financial documents.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Experience in e-commerce operations, particularly Shopify or Amazon Seller Central.
• Basic familiarity with accounting software such as Tally or Zoho Books.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), consumer health, pet care, or pharmaceutical industries.
• Familiarity with supply chain and regulatory environments.

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience, ideally in a startup environment or roles with similar scope.

Environment

• This role is based in Mumbai and is primarily in-office, with occasional travel to warehouses, clinical study locations, and vendor meetings.
