Executive Procurement
Job Summary
As an Executive in Procurement, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities, optimizing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective purchasing strategies to support business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of sourcing, contract negotiation, procurement analytics, and supplier performance management. You will collaborate closely with internal teams such as supply chain, production, finance, and marketing to ensure a seamless procurement process aligned with company goals.
Responsibilities

Digital Procurement & Data Analytics:
- Utilize Material Requirements Planning (MRP) tools in ERP systems to ensure material availability.
- Upgrade and roadmap to Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions for scenario planning.
- Enhance Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) portals for seamless visibility of Raw Material Planning Management (RMPM) and Finished Goods (FG) status with automated reconciliation modules.
- Leverage Power BI and other analytics tools to generate procurement reports, track supplier performance, and monitor cost trends.
- Support digital transformation initiatives such as automation in procurement workflows and supplier portals.

Procurement Strategy:
- Plan raw materials, packaging materials, and indirect goods/services required for the business.
- Manage supplier relationships, including negotiations, contract management, and performance evaluations.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams for alternate vendor development, Minimum Order Quantity (MOQ) reduction, supplier proximity, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) projects.

Supplier Management & Negotiation:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery and reliability for in-house, third-party (3P), and procure-to-pay (P2P) operations.
- Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Develop supplier risk management strategies and contingency plans to mitigate supply chain disruptions.

Procurement Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, ethical sourcing standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Work closely with internal departments to understand material and service requirements.
- Monitor and analyze procurement spend to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier performance metrics.

Stakeholder Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Collaborate with supply chain, production, R&D, and finance teams to ensure procurement aligns with business needs.
- Support new product development (NPD) by sourcing innovative materials and packaging solutions.
- Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure smooth inbound material flow.
- Engage in sustainability initiatives and ensure responsible sourcing practices.
Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on process improvement and operational excellence.

Technical Skills:
- Proven track record of leading and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
