Job Summary

As a Full Stack Developer at Homeville, you will engage in developing systems catering to customers, internal users, and partners. The role emphasizes DevOps, code quality, and security while fostering a strong sense of ownership and delivery. You will be instrumental in creating software that not only meets aesthetic standards but also addresses significant lending challenges in the country.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain existing software applications.
• Design highly scalable and testable code.
• Create microservices using server-side scripts to enhance customer experience and user journeys.
• Build a web-based software system leveraging N-tier architectures, dynamic content, and stringent security models.
• Communicate effectively with project leads, product managers, and other software developers to enforce goals and objectives.
• Mentor fellow engineers and contribute to the technical culture of the team.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications (BCA), Engineering, or a similar field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in PHP frameworks (Laravel or any other framework).
  • Back-End programming knowledge in PHP and Python.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
  • Front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with databases including MySQL, NoSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of web services (REST, SOAP).
  • Previous experience with GIT is essential.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to mentor others, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of JavaScript, Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Agile methodologies would be a plus.

Experience

• Prior work experience in full-stack development is preferred, though specific years of experience are not outlined.
