Job Summary

The purpose of this role is to develop, customize, and maintain AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) components and workflows. The AEM Developer will contribute to ensuring high performance, quality, and responsiveness of AEM applications while aligning with the organization's goals for seamless digital asset management.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, customize, and maintain AEM core/custom components, editable templates, and workflows.
  • Work with Sling Models and HTL (Sightly) to develop components with touch UI dialogs.
  • Design and develop OSGI services, Sling Servlets, and event handlers.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to Adobe Managed Services (AMS).
  • Create and manage AEM content fragments, experience fragments, and variations.
  • Develop and implement style systems within AEM for consistent design and branding across digital assets.
  • Migrate scripts ensuring seamless functionality and compatibility within the AEM environment.
  • Implement and manage the data layer within AEM for accurate data collection and integration with analytics and marketing tools.
  • Manage and optimize the Java Content Repository (JCR) and Apache Oak within AEM for efficient content management.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in AEM core and custom development.
    • Good understanding of UI technologies including jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
    • Knowledge of writing at least Java 8 coding standards.
    • Experience with Sling Models, HTL, OSGI, and Sling Servlets.
    • Familiarity with troubleshooting AEM-related issues.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Ability to work independently and manage complete functionality delivery.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience integrating AEM with other systems and third-party services.
  • Knowledge of the latest AEM and web development trends and best practices.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in AEM development and maintenance.
