Job Summary

The E-commerce Business Manager will be responsible for owning and growing the business across quick-commerce platforms and marketplaces. The role involves building relationships with key stakeholders, managing product catalogues, and executing marketing strategies to drive sales and conversion.

Responsibilities

  • Own and grow business across quick-commerce platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and marketplaces like Amazon and Flipkart.
  • Build and manage relationships with platform category managers and key account managers.
  • Manage product catalogue, listings, product content, imagery, pricing, and assortment across platforms.
  • Plan and execute platform promotions, sponsored ads, and visibility campaigns to drive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV) and conversion.
  • Track and improve in-stock availability, fill rates, and platform service levels.
  • Coordinate demand planning and inventory for fulfilment centres and dark stores.
  • Analyse platform performance — sales, ratings, share of search, Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS) — and optimise accordingly.
  • Manage online pricing, deals, and promotional calendars in line with brand and margin guidelines.
  • Prepare performance reports and recommend strategies to scale the online channel.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: 5–10 years managing quick-commerce and/or e-commerce business in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) / packaged foods.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, Amazon, and Flipkart.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong analytical skills to assess platform performance.
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
  • Proficiency in marketing strategy development and execution.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and demand planning.

Experience

5–10 years of experience required managing quick-commerce and/or e-commerce business.
