Area Sales Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the product and market, a keen sales drive to meet stringent sales goals, the ability to motivate the sales team, and the capability to build strong client relationships. This role is critical in driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the affordable housing segment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients and generate leads through market research, networking, and outreach efforts.
  • Understand the unique needs and challenges of clients, offering tailored solutions and services aligned with their objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our affordable housing products and services, staying current with industry trends and advancements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for their housing needs.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients, effectively communicating the value of affordable housing products.
  • Lead negotiations, address objections, and close sales deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to adapt sales strategies accordingly.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, track performance metrics, and provide regular reports to management.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree.
  • Minimum 7-8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in the housing or real estate sector, specifically within the affordable housing segment.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to motivate and lead a sales team.
  • Proficient in market research and client relationship management.
  • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.

Preferred Skills

  • Knowledge of current industry trends and advancements in affordable housing.
  • Experience in preparing and delivering sales presentations and proposals.
  • Ability to analyze market data and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.

Experience

  • 7-8 years of professional experience in sales, preferably in the housing or real estate sector focusing on affordable housing.

  • Work location: Mumbai.
  • Employment type: Full-time.
  • Work mode: Hybrid (combination of remote and in-office work).

Salary

  • Estimated salary: INR 800,000 per annum.
