Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Mumbai for a Company Secretarial and Compliance Officer at Aris Infra. The Company Secretarial and Compliance Officer will be responsible for managing corporate compliance documents, reviewing legal documents and compliance issues, ensuring all legal obligations are met, liaising with regulatory authorities, and aligning the organization with regulatory norms.
Responsibilities:

Independent experience of IPO and ensuring compliance for listed companies

Substantial experience in corporate transactions like equity, debt raising and also corporate
actions like bonus, buy-back, etc. with an in-depth knowledge of cap tables and ESOPs

Must have the ability to lead a transaction from inception to closing including convening of
meetings of the Board of Directors, members, etc.

Coordination with external professionals, briefing them on a regular basis and also liaison
with regulatory authorities

Substantial experience in post-transaction housekeeping and various corporate actions
required to be undertaken for deals of such nature
Qualifications:

Must have an in-depth understanding of processes like due diligence, and concepts of investor reserved matters.

Strong decision-making abilities.

Independent contributor as well as good leadership and team-building skills.

Outstanding persuasive and customer service skills.

Self-starter.

Sound academic background in Company Law, Legal Compliance or other relevant fields

Ability to work with an acute attention to detail, and handle confidential information

Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed
decisions

Strong knowledge of corporate laws, compliance norms, and regulations

Ability to multitask and work independently with a focus on attention to detail

Familiarity with Excel, database management, and analytics software

The candidate should have 5 to 8 years of experience in company secretarial activities

Prior work experience with a law firm, publicly listed company, or business advisory firm is
desirable.
