Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Demand Forecasting and Planning:
o Develop and implement accurate demand forecasting models tailored to
specific categories within the procurement platform.
o Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product development teams to align
demand forecasts with product launches and market needs.

o Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts and
establishing long-term relationships.
o Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to prevent disruptions and
ensure continuity of supply.
3. Category Strategy Development:
o Develop and execute category-specific strategies to drive value and
innovation within the procurement platform.
o Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for category
expansion and improvement.
4. Data Analysis and Reporting:
o Utilize advanced analytics to monitor category performance, track key
metrics, and generate actionable insights.
o Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize category performance and
procurement processes.
5. Client Engagement:
o Work closely with clients to understand their procurement needs and
preferences, ensuring our platform meets their requirements.
o Address client inquiries and issues related to categories, providing solutions
and support as needed.

Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a track record of
successful supplier management.
Technical knowledge of engineering products and supply chain processes is highly
desirable.
