Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to manage and maintain our organization's databases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal database performance, availability, security, and reliability, thus contributing to the organization’s overall goals.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and upgrade database systems.
• Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
• Perform regular backups and ensure data integrity and recovery.
• Manage user access, security, and compliance policies.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts for schema design, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Troubleshoot database issues and provide support for production environments.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Familiarity with backup, recovery, and high availability strategies.
• Understanding of database security and user access control.
• Experience with cloud-based databases (e.g., Azure SQL) is a plus.
• PF Mandatory (Provident Fund)

Preferred Skills

• Experience with different database environments (MySQL, SQL Server).
• Familiarity with scripting languages for automation and monitoring.

Experience

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in database administration.

Environment

• Position is C2C / Remote. Availability for immediate joining or within 10 days is preferred.
