EDI Analyst

Job Summary

The EDI Analyst will be responsible for supporting EDI and integration operations with current customers and business partners. The role involves onboarding new EDI partners, supporting existing EDI implementations, and ensuring seamless transaction sets. The analyst will work independently, utilizing problem-solving and critical thinking skills to contribute to the organization's goals.

Responsibilities

• Support EDI and integration operations with current customers and business partners.
• Onboard new EDI partners and support existing EDI implementations and transaction sets.
• Analyze business programs or processes, recommend improvements, and develop and document systems requirements.
• Develop functional and technical systems design specifications for EDI transactions to meet defined needs.
• Evaluate and select application software tools to meet defined needs.
• Develop and maintain forms and user procedures for new or existing systems.
• Monitor and track the status of all assigned projects and report progress to stakeholders.
• Develop program specifications, code, test, and debug programs related to EDI transactions and integrations with other business systems (Oracle EBS, and 3PLs).
• Identify and recommend improvements to data processing standards and systems development and support procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with Retail Transactions – 832, 850, 855, 856, 810, and 852.
• Relevant experience with ANSI X.12 and EDIFACT standards.
• Experience with EDI communications standards and protocols: AS2, standard VAN-based EDI, FTP, HTTPS; and with at least one EDI software platform.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience in EDI analysis and integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with additional EDI software platforms and tools.
• Knowledge of additional EDI transaction sets beyond the specified ones.

Experience

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in EDI analysis and integration roles.

Environment

• This is a remote position with flexible working hours (6-6-6 hours or 8-8 hours
