Position Overview:<br /> A Program Manager for centralized data center technical operations oversees projects that standardize<br /> and optimize global data center functions from one location. This role ensures efficient service delivery<br /> across multiple sites, focusing on technical operations like server management, power, cooling, and<br /> security.<br /> Key Responsibilities<br /> Plan and execute projects to standardize operations like monitoring and maintenance across<br /> global sites.<br /> o Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.<br /> o Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and<br /> objectives are met.<br /> o Monitor project progress and implement necessary adjustments to ensure successful<br /> completion.<br /> Risk Management:<br /> o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project<br /> outcomes.<br /> o Proactively address issues and resolve conflicts within the project team.<br /> Stakeholder Communication:<br /> o Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.<br /> o Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, on project<br /> status, risks, and issues.<br /> Quality Assurance:<br /> o Ensure that all project deliverables meet project objectives, industry standards and<br /> best practices.<br /> o Conduct regular project reviews to identify areas for improvement and implement best<br /> practices.<br /> Budget Management:<br /> o Oversee project budgets and ensure financial accountability.<br /> o Manage project expenditures and provide detailed financial reports.<br /> Maintain Dashboards to enhance visibility and control.<br /> Apply ITSM frameworks (e.g., ITIL) for processes like incident and change management,<br /> ensuring high service availability.<br /> Collaborate with regional teams to align local needs with centralized strategies, managing risks<br /> and compliance with global regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).<br /> Qualifications<br /> Requires 7+ years in program management, with at least 5 years in ITSM, and experience in<br /> data center operations.<br /> Strong understanding of data center technologies and industry standards.<br /> Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.<br /> Skills include expertise in ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC remedy) and project management<br /> tools (e.g., MS Project).<br /> Preferred certifications: ITIL, PMP, or data center management (e.g., CDCP).
