Cyber Security Sales Leader

Job Summary
The Cyber Security Sales Leader will spearhead our enterprise and B2B sales initiatives, driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities and managing key accounts. This role requires proven expertise in cybersecurity sales, solution consulting, and client relationship management, aimed at enhancing the organization’s market presence and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth in Cyber Security solutions & services including Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), Security Operations Center (SOC), Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), Cyber Insurance, Data Privacy, and Compliance frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST, and GDPR.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs), Chief Information Officers (CIOs), Chief Technology Officers (CTOs), Risk Managers, and other key decision-makers across various industries.
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle – including prospecting, lead generation, consultative selling, solution mapping, negotiation, and closure.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and technical teams to design and present customized security solutions to clients.
- Achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets while maintaining strong client satisfaction.
- Stay updated on emerging cyber threats, compliance requirements, and market trends to position our offerings effectively.
- Represent the company at industry events, forums, and client workshops.
- Build and mentor a sales team (if applicable) to scale business operations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of B2B/Enterprise Sales experience, with at least 4 years in the Cyber Security or IT Security domain.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity services and solutions including Security Operations Center (SOC), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), GRC, Threat Intelligence, Compliance frameworks, and Cloud Security.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Established network of senior-level contacts in Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI), Healthcare, Manufacturing, IT/ITES, and other sectors.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to translate technical security concepts into business value propositions.
- Experience working with channel partners, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), and technology alliances is a plus.
- MBA/PGDM or equivalent qualification in Sales, Marketing, or IT (preferred).
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with international cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Experience in building and leading high-performing sales teams.
Experience
A minimum of 10 years of B2B/Enterprise sales experience is required, with specific experience in the Cyber Security domain.
Environment
The typical work setting is fast-paced and collaborative, providing exposure to large enterprise clients and global projects. The role may involve travel to meet clients and attend industry-related events.
