Job Summary

The SAP UI5 professional will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing user interfaces and applications using SAP UI5 and Fiori technologies. The role requires deep expertise in SAP UI5 programming, Fiori on Business Technology Platform (BTP), and OData services, contributing to the digital transformation of business processes. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions that optimize user experience and business efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain user interfaces using SAP UI5 and Fiori design principles.
• Implement and manage Fiori applications on Business Technology Platform (BTP) utilizing the RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
• Design and expose data services using OData (Service Gateway, SEGW).
• Lead or contribute to Fiori Adaptation Projects and application extensibility initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized solutions.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimize application performance, and ensure adherence to best practices in SAP UI5 development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in SAP UI5 programming.
• Strong expertise in SAP Fiori application development and deployment.
• Proficient in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and using RAP (RESTful Application Programming Model).
• Skilled in OData services development (SEGW).
• Experience with Fiori Adaptation Projects or application extensibility.
• Familiarity with Floorplan Manager (FPM) or Business Object Processing Framework (BOPF).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform or SAP Extension Suite.
• Experience with agile methodologies or DevOps practices.
• Certification in SAP Fiori or SAPUI5 is an advantage.
• Exposure to UI/UX best practices and design tools.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in SAP UI5, Fiori, and BTP.
• Experience in leading or participating in Fiori Adaptation or Extensibility projects.
• Exposure to OData Services development and integration.
• Experience working in hybrid (remote + onsite) environments preferred.
