ETL Testing Engineer

Job Summary

This role involves performing ETL testing and ensuring data integrity in applications. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in data pipeline validation and automation, contributing to the overall quality of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing of ETL applications and ensure the accuracy and integrity of data.
• Write and execute complex SQL queries for database validation and testing.
• Develop and maintain automation frameworks for database testing and data pipelines using Python.
• Collaborate with development teams to understand system requirements and functionality.
• Conduct web and UI testing to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Participate in client-facing discussions during the interview process and provide insights on technical challenges.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Skills:

  • Strong experience in ETL Testing.
  • Proficiency in Python and automation frameworks such as Pytest.
  • Extensive knowledge of SQL with the ability to write complex queries.
  • Experience with DB Testing and validating ETL applications or Big Data technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in building automation frameworks for database testing.
  • Proficient in Web Testing and automation experience in UI Testing.

Experience

• 5-7 years of relevant experience in ETL testing and database testing.
