Role: Data Analyst – XOps (Client Relations Tech & Operations)

Location: Bengaluru

Department: Client Relations – XOps

We are looking for a Data Analyst in the Operational Excellence team who will be responsible for supporting data operations, reporting, and project delivery across the Client Relations platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and stakeholders, and who has a passion for process optimization and operational excellence. This role will play a key role in managing Salesforce data quality, generating insights through reporting, and contributing to system enhancements and workflow automation.

This position offers exposure across EQT’s investment strategies and internal teams, with the opportunity to shape scalable data processes that improve investor engagement and internal efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update investor and fund-related data in Salesforce, ensuring accuracy and completeness across multiple use cases.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports to enable visibility into client engagement, fundraising, and service performance.
  • Extract, clean, and analyze data from Salesforce and other platforms (e.g., CRMA, Tableau, Excel) to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Support data-related workstreams across XOps and CR initiatives, including onboarding processes, due diligence tracking, and campaign analytics.
  • Assist in defining data requirements and testing enhancements to Salesforce and integrated tools.
  • Contribute to documentation of key processes and promote best practices in data stewardship and governance.
  • Coordinate across teams to track deliverables, flag risks, and help keep projects on time and within scope.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong academic credentials and fluency in English (written and spoken).
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in a data- or operations-focused role within financial services; experience in Private Equity or Asset Management is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in Salesforce: able to input, extract, validate, and report on data effectively.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data in Excel and reporting tools (e.g., CRMA, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with project coordination or project management, including tracking timelines and dependencies.
