Job Description

Chief Growth Officer (CGO)

 

Primary role is to identify potential growth opportunities and win and execute sales contracts across the various businesses in the platform.  This entails growing existing revenue, identifying additional stream of revenues and introduction of new integrated solutions / services based on existing capabilities within the companies and winning new sales revenues.

 

This is further detailed hereunder:

 

  • Oversight, target setting and monitoring performance in winning sales / meeting revenue targets by respective teams across the businesses in the platform
  • Identifying cross-sell opportunities amongst the various businesses and winning new revenues
  • Identifying adjacent solutions to expand the bouquet of solutions and enhance revenue streams
  • Working closely with the various sales teams across the platform to over time integrate the sales function under one team
  • Develop an integrated ESGRC positioning for Xcelerate in the market both from a branding and sales perspective

The CGO will be the primary sales leader and business development orchestrator and will be responsible for bringing revenues through new business development for the platform.

 

The candidate must have at least 15+ years of overall enterprise sales experience in acquiring and managing large accounts in GRC and ESG segments, aligned with Xcelerate’s business.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Developing and implementing industry-specific sales plans & strategies across industry segments (Large Enterprises / MSME).
  • Identifying and building a go-to-market Channel of affiliate partners
  • Creating strategies for prospecting and generating a viable pipeline of opportunities.
  • Be responsible for meeting revenue targets and the sales costs associated with it
  • Facilitate and lead large enterprise pitches for Xcelerate companies
  • Meet CXOs and Business Heads at enterprises and pitch them relevant digital solutions
  • Establish partnerships with other firms to explore synergies and take joint solutions to the market
  • Lead the hiring effort for the next generation of sales team members and integrate the various sales teams across the platform
 

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Minimum 15 plus years of prior experience in IT tools, services, professional services, outsourcing services, sales especially closing large enterprise deals is a must.
  • Should have demonstrated experience of managing teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, along with the ability to forge strong professional relationships.
  • Ability to manage both at the strategic and operational levels
  • Strong numeracy skills with the capability to define and meet pipeline metrics and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Ambition, enthusiasm, and a passion for going above and beyond.
  • Demonstrated ability in building successful sales teams
  • This role will be based out of Hyderabad / Mumbai / Bengaluru and will involve frequent travel within India and outside to meet prospects and customers.
