Manager, Engineering

Job Summary

The Manager, Engineering will be responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting Windows-based servers and server farms, Microsoft Clusters, DNS solutions, and Active Directory-based domains. This role focuses on meeting internal and external customer requirements while ensuring operability, stability, high availability, performance, scalability, and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and support Windows-based servers and server farms.
• Manage Microsoft Clusters and DNS solutions.
• Oversee Active Directory-based domains according to operational principles.
• Ensure systems meet customer requirements with a focus on stability and performance.
• Implement best practices for high availability and scalability of server environments.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows Active Directory (Forest, child domain & Multi-domain Trust).
• Strong skills in PowerShell scripting.
• Experience with Microsoft Cluster and Windows Server 2012/2019.
• Knowledge of Group Policy Object (GPO) maintenance and Distributed File System (DFS) servers.
• Familiarity with antivirus software management.
• Understanding of OSI Layers.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud-based solutions and virtualization technologies.
• Familiarity with network security protocols and practices.

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in server management and engineering roles.

Environment

• Work setting is in-office, located in Bangalore.

Salary

• Estimated salary range: ₹6,000,000 per annum.
