Job Summary

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software products through comprehensive testing. This role will contribute to the organization’s goals by verifying that applications perform as expected and meet quality standards before they are released.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure comprehensive software quality coverage.
• Utilize test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Robotium to enhance the efficiency of testing processes.
• Perform API testing using tools like Postman to validate backend services.
• Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve issues early in the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct performance and security testing to ensure the robustness and safety of applications.
• Support quality assurance processes for CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service) or CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service) products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Robotium, or similar.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Python, Java, or JavaScript for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket (Git).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team.
