Oracle Service Cloud Techno-Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow) Techno-Functional Consultant to join our remote team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with the Customer Portal and BUI Extensions (Agent Desktop) as these are mandatory for this role. This position requires deep technical and functional expertise in Oracle Service Cloud (OSvC) implementations, customizations, and integrations, alongside strong programming skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end implementation and support of Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow).
• Customization and maintenance of the Customer Portal using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), PHP, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Development and extension of Browser User Interface (BUI) and Agent Desktop functionality.
• Design and implementation of custom scripts, workflows, business rules, and automations.
• Build and manage REST API integrations with external systems.
• Configure and support email workflows, mailbox management, and transactional/outreach emails.
• Implement Oracle Engagement Engine features such as Web Chat for Service (WCFS).
• Apply Oracle Gen AI features where applicable.
• Troubleshoot issues and work closely with business and technical teams to deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

• Mandatory Requirements:

  • Experience with Oracle Service Cloud (RightNow).
  • Expertise in Customer Portal development.
  • Proficient in BUI Extensions and Agent Desktop customization.

• Good to Have:

  • Knowledge of Oracle Digital Assistant (ODA).
  • Familiarity with C# and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Oracle Service Cloud Certifications.

• Educational Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Oracle Service Cloud, including implementation, support, and consultancy roles.
