PHP Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Developer with proven experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PHP development and extensive experience with Pimcore, Symfony, and various front-end technologies. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining robust web applications that meet the needs of our clients and contribute to our organization's success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and Pimcore.
• Utilize Symfony components to enhance application architecture and performance.
• Manage and optimize databases using MySQL or MariaDB.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Implement best practices in web development, including security, performance, and accessibility.
• Integrate third-party services and APIs, including RESTful APIs and SOAP.
• Participate in Agile development processes, contributing to sprint planning and reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in PHP development (7+ years).
• Strong experience with Pimcore, including its PIM, CMS, DAM, and eCommerce capabilities.
• Familiarity with Symfony and its components.
• Knowledge of MySQL or MariaDB for database management.
• Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Vue.js).
• Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong understanding of web development best practices, including security, performance, and accessibility.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SOAP, and integrating third-party services.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vue.js or React.js for front-end development.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Understanding of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with automated testing tools.

Experience
