Job Summary
The Sales Executive will own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. This role is vital for driving growth by acquiring new customers and fostering relationships with technical buyers.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full sales cycle, including prospecting, discovery, demos, proof of concept (POC), and closing, with a typical annual contract value (ACV) of $10,000 to $50,000.
- Develop and maintain an outbound sales engine through various channels such as phone, email, and LinkedIn, aiming for a minimum of 10 demos per month.
- Ensure pipeline hygiene by keeping HubSpot organized and up-to-date, and publish weekly KPI dashboards.
- Create and refine sales playbooks to transform successful strategies into repeatable processes.
- Achieve an annual sales quota of over $750,000 in new Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in closing Small to Mid-Market Software as a Service (SaaS) deals ranging from $10,000 to over $50,000 in ACV, especially in Seed to Series B startups.
- Proven track record of success in selling to technical buyers, including Development Leads, Heads of Engineering, and Chief Technology Officers (CTOs).
- Strong cold-calling abilities with a history of successfully booking more than 10 demos per month through outbound efforts.
- Must be based in San Francisco.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with HubSpot or other customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Experience in the AI or tech industry can be a plus.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in technical discussions.
Experience
- At least 3 years of demonstrated experience in sales within the SaaS sector, with a focus on acquiring and closing clients in SMB and mid-market segments.
Environment
The typical work setting is in-office, located in San Francisco. The role will involve fast-paced work with flexibility, as the company is still in the process of defining its playbook.
