Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
Design Optimization:
o Analyze and evaluate current electrical systems and infrastructure in existing data centers.
o Develop strategies to optimize energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve
system reliability.
o Implement innovative solutions to enhance the performance of electrical systems.
Innovative Design Principles:
o Research and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in electrical
engineering.
o Lead the development of new electrical design standards and guidelines for future data
center projects.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new
technologies.
Project Management:
o Manage electrical design projects from conception through implementation, ensuring
timely and budget-conscious delivery.
o Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
o Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet goals.
Technical Leadership:
o Provide expert guidance and support to engineering teams on all aspects of electrical
design and optimization.
o Conduct technical training sessions and workshops to upskill team members and
stakeholders.

o Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations to maintain competitive
advantage.
Sustainability and Compliance:
o Promote sustainable practices in electrical system design and operation.
o Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
o Participate in audits and assessments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATION &
EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
15+ years of experience in Energy Engineering or Energy Management with
a focus on energy conservation for critical facilities.
Proven track record of successful electrical design projects in data centers
or similar environments.
AutoCAD experience is required.
Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Leadership in Energy and Environment
Design (LEED) AP or equivalent program.
Professional Engineering License preferred.
Ability to design in CADD is expected and design ability in Revit is a plus,
but preferred.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to innovate.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
