DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
 Design Optimization:
o Analyze and evaluate current electrical systems and infrastructure in existing data centers.
o Develop strategies to optimize energy efficiency, reduce operational costs, and improve
system reliability.
o Implement innovative solutions to enhance the performance of electrical systems.
 Innovative Design Principles:
o Research and integrate cutting-edge technologies and methodologies in electrical
engineering.
o Lead the development of new electrical design standards and guidelines for future data
center projects.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration of new
technologies.
 Project Management:
o Manage electrical design projects from conception through implementation, ensuring
timely and budget-conscious delivery.
o Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to achieve project objectives.
o Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to meet goals.
 Technical Leadership:
o Provide expert guidance and support to engineering teams on all aspects of electrical
design and optimization.
o Conduct technical training sessions and workshops to upskill team members and
stakeholders.

o Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations to maintain competitive
advantage.
 Sustainability and Compliance:
o Promote sustainable practices in electrical system design and operation.
o Ensure all designs comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
o Participate in audits and assessments to ensure compliance and continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
QUALIFICATION &
EXPERIENCE
 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
 15+ years of experience in Energy Engineering or Energy Management with
a focus on energy conservation for critical facilities.
 Proven track record of successful electrical design projects in data centers
or similar environments.
 AutoCAD experience is required.
 Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Leadership in Energy and Environment
Design (LEED) AP or equivalent program.
 Professional Engineering License preferred.
 Ability to design in CADD is expected and design ability in Revit is a plus,
but preferred.
 Strong knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.
 Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to innovate.
 Strong communication and leadership skills.
