Head – Operations (D2C & Marketplaces)

About the Role

We are looking for a Head – Operations to lead the end-to-end operations function for a fast-growing D2C consumer brand. The role will own the complete supply chain from first mile to last mile, ensuring seamless execution across procurement, demand planning, warehousing, logistics, fulfilment, and marketplace operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in D2C operations, marketplace fulfilment, supply chain management, and third-party logistics (3PL) management within a high-growth, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end operations function across D2C and marketplace channels.
• Manage the complete supply chain from first mile to last mile, ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Lead demand planning and inventory planning to optimise stock availability while minimising excess inventory.
• Drive warehouse operations, logistics, and order fulfilment through internal teams and external partners.
• Manage relationships with 3PL partners, logistics providers, and warehousing partners to ensure service excellence.
• Oversee marketplace operations across Amazon, Flipkart, and Quick Commerce platforms, ensuring seamless order processing, fulfilment, inventory availability, and SLA adherence.
• Coordinate closely with manufacturing, procurement, finance, sales, and marketplace teams to ensure smooth business operations.
• Develop and improve SOPs, operational processes, and performance metrics to support business growth and scalability.
• Monitor key operational KPIs including OTIF, fill rates, inventory accuracy, order fulfilment timelines, and logistics costs.
• Drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence across the business.

Ideal Candidate

• 5–7 years of experience in Operations and Supply Chain.

• Proven experience working with external logistics, fulfilment, and warehousing partners.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement mindset.
• Comfortable working in a high-growth startup environment with structured and scalable processes.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
