Job Summary
The Business Analyst role in our Client Solutions team is essential for capturing and translating client requirements into functional and technical specifications. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of insights and data access through our SaaS platform and APIs, thereby maximizing value for our clients.
Responsibilities

Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering
- Conduct discovery workshops with clients to understand business processes, pain points, and integration needs.
- Document detailed business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications for implementation teams.

Solution Design & Documentation
- Map client workflows to platform capabilities and identify gaps.
- Collaborate with Solution Specialists and Engineers to design API-driven solutions.
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs), process flows, and data mapping documents.

Customer Data Requests & Analysis
- Handle client requests for data extracts, reports, and dashboards in alignment with platform capabilities.
- Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy before delivery.
- Analyze customer data to identify trends, usage patterns, and actionable insights.
- Partner with clients to define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Work with internal teams to automate recurring data requests where possible.

Project Support & Delivery
- Support project managers in defining scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Act as the liaison between client stakeholders and internal technical teams.
- Validate solutions through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, test case creation, and defect triage.

Cross-functional Collaboration
- Partner with Product Management to provide client feedback for roadmap planning.
- Work with Customer Success to ensure smooth handover post-implementation.
- Support pre-sales teams with solution scoping and proposal inputs when required.

Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to optimize implementation processes and templates.
- Contribute to internal knowledge bases and best practice playbooks.
Qualifications

Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in SaaS, enterprise software, or consulting.
- Strong understanding of API-driven platforms, data flows, and system integrations.
- Experience handling customer data requests, reporting, and analysis.
- Proficiency in requirements documentation, process modeling (BPMN/UML), and user story writing.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Good to Have:
- Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, Miro.
- Exposure to SQL or Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) for data analysis.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Prior experience in client-facing consulting roles.
