Senior Product Design Engineer

As a Senior Product Design Engineer, you will combine strong UI/UX design capabilities with hands-on frontend development expertise to create immersive, user-centric product experiences that enhance online jewelry shopping.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product design and development lifecycle, including problem discovery, UX strategy, design, implementation, and launch.
- Translate complex product requirements into intuitive, engaging, and user-centric experiences across web and mobile platforms.
- Design and build high-quality user interfaces using React and React Native.
- Collaborate closely with the founding team to define product direction, identify opportunities, and shape the overall user experience.
- Develop interactive prototypes and functional product experiences to validate ideas and iterate rapidly.
- Make strategic UX decisions that extend beyond wireframes, visual aesthetics, or AI-generated design outputs.
- Build scalable, reusable frontend components while maintaining consistency across platforms.
- Work with backend and AI engineering teams to integrate intelligent features, personalization, and 360° product visualization capabilities.
- Take full ownership of the quality, usability, and performance of the experiences you build.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Design, UI/UX Design, Design Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong hands-on experience in UI/UX design combined with frontend development expertise.
- Proficiency in React and React Native, with demonstrated experience building products for both web and mobile platforms.
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, interaction design, usability, and product thinking.
- Proven ability to independently own the complete product design and frontend implementation lifecycle.
- Experience translating business requirements and user problems into intuitive product experiences.
- Capability to make thoughtful UX decisions beyond generating wireframes, screens, or AI-assisted design outputs.
- Strong knowledge of frontend architecture, component-based design, and responsive interfaces.
- High ownership mentality, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
