Job Summary

We are looking for a strategic and execution-driven professional to join our team as Deputy Manager – Direct-to-Consumer (D2C). This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for scaling our D2C business through data-driven growth strategies, team leadership, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen with deep digital expertise to own the D2C Profit & Loss (P&L), drive website sales, and deliver a seamless consumer experience across all touchpoints—from acquisition to retention.

Responsibilities

  • D2C Strategy & Performance:

    • Own and manage the P&L for the D2C channel with defined sales growth targets.
    • Develop and execute both short-term and long-term D2C growth roadmaps.
    • Analyze digital funnels, conversion rates, and customer journeys to optimize performance.
  • Website & Conversion Management:

    • Oversee end-to-end website operations, including User Interface (UI)/User Experience (UX), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), and technical enhancements.
    • Work closely with design and tech teams to ensure a fast, intuitive, and conversion-optimized site.
    • Implement A/B testing to improve conversion rate and average order value (AOV).
  • Marketing & Growth Execution:

    • Lead performance marketing across paid, organic, influencer, and affiliate channels.
    • Define and execute customer retention and loyalty strategies to enhance Lifetime Value (LTV).
    • Collaborate with marketing and content teams to drive traffic, engagement, and storytelling initiatives.
  • Team & Cross-functional Leadership:

    • Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional team across marketing, operations, and customer experience.
    • Collaborate with merchandising, logistics, and support teams to ensure seamless D2C operations.
  • Data & Analytics:

    • Track and analyze key metrics such as traffic, conversion, Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), AOV, and Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS).
    • Leverage analytics tools and dashboards to extract insights and guide growth strategies.
  • Market & Competitor Intelligence:

    • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging innovations in D2C.
    • Collaborate with product and design teams to convert insights into new offerings and improvements.

Qualifications

  • Postgraduate degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in D2C, e-commerce, or digital sales.
  • Proven track record in scaling D2C revenue, preferably in consumer/lifestyle brands.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify, digital marketing, analytics, and tech integrations.
  • Experienced in leading cross-functional digital teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High ownership mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with nuances of the D2C landscape and consumer behavior.
  • Experience with advanced analytics tools and e-commerce platforms.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the D2C or e-commerce sectors.
