Job Summary

The .Net Sitecore Developer will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Sitecore platform. This position is essential for ensuring the implementation of Sitecore best practices and enhancing the overall performance of applications. The developer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital solutions that meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality web applications using Sitecore and .NET technologies.
• Implement and maintain Sitecore best practices, including security roles, permissions, workflows, and caching strategies to optimize performance.
• Utilize development and automated testing tools while applying software design principles and patterns in the Sitecore/.NET domain.
• Work with database item serializers, including Team Development for Sitecore (TDS) and ORM mappers such as Glass or Atlas.
• Create and maintain bundling and packaging tools (e.g., NPM, Webpack, Gulp) for efficient front-end development.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate APIs and manage code versions using tools like Git/TFS.

Qualifications

• Education: Tertiary qualification in an IT discipline or a related field.
• Certification: Sitecore Developer certified.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in HTML/HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of Sitecore Search technologies, including Solr Cloud.
  • Experienced in using mock frameworks and dependency injection principles.
  • Familiar with noSQL databases such as Cosmos DB and MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of developing for Sitecore XP topologies and analytic tracking.
  • Experience with automated testing tools within the Sitecore/.NET domain.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Hosting platforms.
• Experience with Helix architecture.
• Knowledge of Google Dialogflow or other bot-based AI engines/NLP.
• Proficiency in creating and updating Power BI reports and dashboards.

Experience

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in software development focused on Sitecore and .NET technologies.

Environment

• This is a remote position that allows flexibility in working environments.
