Job Summary

The Security Analyst (CCTV Monitoring) within the Security Operations Center (SOC) is responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of the organization's premises through continuous monitoring and analysis of CCTV footage. This role contributes to the organization's safety goals by identifying and responding to potential security threats in real-time.

Responsibilities

• Continuously monitor CCTV footage to identify suspicious activity and potential breaches of security.
• Analyze and investigate incidents based on monitoring reports and footage.
• Collaborate with the security team to develop and implement effective security protocols and strategies.
• Prepare detailed reports on security incidents for management and law enforcement as necessary.
• Maintain and update security video systems to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
• Provide training and support to other staff regarding security measures and incident response procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred.
• Experience working in a security operations center or similar environment.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with CCTV and video surveillance technologies.
• Proficiency in using security monitoring systems and software.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work within a team and handle stressful situations.

Preferred Skills

• Certification in security operations or CCTV systems (e.g., Certified Protection Professional - CPP).
• Knowledge of relevant security regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience in conducting security assessments and risk management.
