Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Playwright Automation Engineer with 4–6 years of testing experience, including strong expertise in Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript. The role involves developing robust automation frameworks, executing functional, API, and database testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright.
• Execute functional, API, and database testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects identified during testing.
• Implement CI/CD practices to enhance the automation process.
• Report and track defects using JIRA.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Playwright automation with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in API & Database testing with knowledge of SQL/Oracle/PostgreSQL.
• Proficient in version control systems like Git and defect tracking with JIRA.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing solutions.

Experience

• 4–6 years of relevant experience in automation testing, with a strong focus on Playwright.

Environment

• Hybrid work setting based in Bangalore (3-4 days in-office).
