Head of Commercial & Partnerships Wellness CRDMO (Supplements & Nutraceuticals)

Leumas is a top-tier venture-funded, Bangalore-based startup building a next-generation Contract Research and Development Manufacturing Organization (CRDMO) purpose-built for wellness brands including supplements, nutraceuticals, and consumer health. Job Summary

This role represents a foundational leadership position tasked with defining the sales strategy and operational framework for selling next-generation wellness manufacturing solutions. As the first commercial leader, you will be expected to build the commercial engine from the ground up, driving revenue from week one and setting the standard for how wellness manufacturing is marketed and sold.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage B2B enterprise sales with senior decision-makers including Founders, CEOs, COOs, and heads of R&D and quality.
  • Close complex, multi-stakeholder deals and transition them into long-term, repeat programs.
  • Build a sales pipeline across India while engaging global partners and innovators as opportunities arise.
  • Design and implement go-to-market (GTM) strategies and define ideal customer profiles (ICPs) with clear value propositions focused on speed, quality, and transparency.
  • Develop partnerships with formulators, ingredient suppliers, consultants, and industry bodies to create a robust ecosystem.
  • Establish a comprehensive commercial operating system, including CRM discipline and conversion playbooks, to streamline the sales process and forecast performance.

Qualifications

  • 8-12+ years of experience in B2B enterprise sales or business development within the wellness manufacturing, nutraceuticals, supplements, or consumer health sectors.
  • Proven track record of selling into multi-stakeholder committees with a focus on building trust through clarity and predictable execution.
  • Technical credibility in wellness manufacturing, along with familiarity with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), FSSAI, and NSF standards.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to run structured discovery processes and sell outcomes beyond mere capacity.
  • Ability to operate across various levels of the organization, from CEO-level narratives to frontline deal execution.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with pharmaceutical-grade quality standards and experience collaborating with pharma-related quality teams.
  • Capability to navigate long sales cycles and convert complex requirements into actionable internal briefs.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex operational details into compelling customer value propositions.

Experience

8-12+ years of experience in business development within regulated manufacturing environments, emphasizing trust and quality execution.
