Job Summary
The HRBP Lead at Vegrow is a strategic and high-ownership role responsible for shaping and executing the people strategy across multiple business functions. The role involves leading and developing a team of HR Business Partners, driving organizational design and transformation initiatives, and fostering a strong organizational culture that aligns with Vegrow’s growth objectives. This position is critical in building scalable systems, teams, and processes within a fast-paced startup environment.
Responsibilities
- Build, mentor, and grow a team of HR Business Partners; establish operating rhythm, standards, and priorities for HR partnership across the organization.
- Own the end-to-end people agenda for designated business groups, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, and retention strategies.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders, translating business goals into effective people strategies to improve organizational health.
- Lead or co-lead organization-wide projects and transformation initiatives, from problem definition and design to rollout and adoption.
- Own organization design at scale, including role architecture, spans and layers, restructuring, and change management as the business expands.
- Develop talent development, succession planning, and leadership capability frameworks for critical roles.
- Shape organizational culture, engagement, and rewards programs through surveys, benchmarking, and pay-for-performance frameworks.
Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of progressive HR/HRBP experience, including partnering with senior leadership and leading transformation projects.
- Proven experience in driving organization design and large-scale transformation initiatives.
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources from a reputed business school.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of organizational dynamics.
- Experience working in sectors such as Agriculture, FMCG, or E-Commerce is preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and build processes from scratch.
- Willingness to travel regularly to regional and field locations.
